Key employers include Qantas, Jetstar, Virgin Australia, Rex, Alliance, and major MROs like Heston, Jet Aviation, and TAE Aerospace, all have recruitment activity on social media. Contractors and consultancies like Jotore also support maintenance and compliance projects across the region.
3. Key Requirements for Success
CASA Part 66 Licence or recognition of other qualifications (DGCA/EASA)
Experience in line or base maintenance on Airbus/Boeing fleets or regional aircraft.
Good English communication and documentation skills, that can be demonstrated.
Valid visa or sponsorship eligibility — some roles provide sponsorship for skilled workers, whilst others do not.
